Highlights:
- This morning in Art, we created self portraits. We practiced drawing the different parts of our faces and adding details.
- We read a story called One Word for Kids during Literacy. Ask me what my word is for the year.
- During Reading Groups, we practiced rotating through our centres and making sure we understand the expectations of each one. Ask me what ones I did today.
- For Science, we started our unit on Matters and Materials. We learned the difference between natural and processed materials. Ask me what are examples of each.
- In Health, we talked about what respect means and examples of how we can show it at school.
Reminders:
- Tomorrow is our Terry Fox Run. Students are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing that they can run in.
- We are continuing to collect donations for the Terry Fox Foundation.
