Highlights:
- This morning in Literacy, we talked about how we can connect our ideas in a sentence using conjunctions. We practiced using the different ways. Ask me what FANBOYS stands for.
- In Math, we reviewed how we write numbers in expanded form. Then we worked on representing numbers using words. Ask me how to show the number 210 and 759 in words.
- Today in Reading Groups, some groups were able to go to the library for the first time this week. Other groups will be going throughout the week. Students are able to keep their books for two weeks. It is important that they are returned.
- For Science, we learned about how First Nations, Inuit, and Metis peoples use different natural items. Ask me what is one example I learned about.
Reminders:
- Subway Fun Lunch is on Wednesday for those that ordered.
- On Thursday from 5:00 - 7:00pm it will be the Welcome to the New Year Open House. Families are welcome to drop in at anytime during the 2-hour period.
