- This morning we started our day with getting familiar with our new classroom and then went on a tour of the school! We also read a story called First Day Jitters and talked about the feelings we had about starting school. Ask me what the surprise ending was in the story!
- In Math, we started to create a visual journal page that included numbers about ourselves. Ask me what types of things I added.
- In the afternoon, we started with mindfulness to help us reset and get back into our learning for the afternoon.
- Today in Literacy, we read a book called How I Spent My Summer Vacation. After, we wrote a few sentences about what we did. Ask me what highlights I included.
- We finished off our day with Maker Space and had the opportunity to build and create with our new friends.
Reminders:
- Green folders were sent home today with each student. Inside each folder are a parent questionnaire and a digital citizenship form. Please complete both forms and return as soon as possible.
- Please log in to your Parent Powerschool account and complete any forms that are needed such as the demographics and the consent to post on the blog.
