Highlights:
- This morning in Literacy we started to learn about Show, Don't Tell Writing. We learned that show writing helps the reader make a detailed picture in their mind. Instead of saying, I am cold, we can show that by using descriptive words and our senses.
- For Math, we reviewed rounding to the nearest 10 and then practiced rounding to the nearest 100. Ask me to round the following numbers to the nearest 100:
- 276
- 512
- 804
- In Social Studies, we started our learning on the different regions of Alberta. Today we coloured the six regions on a map and began to learn about some of them.
- We had our Reading Groups today. Ask me which ones I went to.
