Highlights:
- This morning in Literacy, we read the story Meet Willie O'Ree. Ask me who he is and the important impact he has had.
- For Math, we learned another strategy that we can use for multiplication and division. It is arrays! We did an activity where we looked for real life examples of arrays. Ask me to explain what they are and how we can use them to solve 4x5=.
- In Music, we used the boomwhackers to play different songs. Ask me what my favourite song was.
- During Science, we did an experiment on weathering. Ask me what we did and how it showed the weathering process.
- Today in Technology, we had some time to explore Typing Club! We are definitely getting better at our typing skills.
Reminders:
- Today a class list was sent home with each student for our optional Valentine's Card Exchange next week. If your child wishes to hand out cards please note:
- Each child in the class should receive a message if your child would like to send something. (There is no expectation that your child will send a message, but we request that if your child does bring a note or Valentine that no student in their class is left out.)
- What is written is kind
- For safety reasons, no candy, chocolate or other food items can be handed out. (If your child brings any candy, chocolate or food items, they will be sent back home with them.) Thank you in advance for your cooperation and understanding.
