Highlights:
- This morning in Literacy, we did a review of our writing checklist. We practiced creating grade 3 sentences for different pictures. Ask me what are some things that I should be including in my writing.
- For Math, we practiced skip counting by 3's, 4's, and 25's. Then we continued patterns starting at a given number. Ask me to count by 3's starting at 27.
- In the afternoon, we had our reading groups. Ask me which centres I did.
- Today in Health, we reviewed expected and unexpected behaviours. Then we read a story called What if Everybody Did That? Ask me why rules are important.
- We finished our day with Maker Space and building with different materials.
Reminders:
- Today photo orders were sent home for students who were present on picture day. A class photo was also sent home.
- On Friday, students are welcome to wear Orange or Black. They are also welcome to wear a costume. Costumes must not interfere with learning and must be comfortable enough to be able to fully participate in the learning day. Students may not:
- wear full face costume masks
- bring costume accessories (ie. weapons)
- spend instructional time putting on costumes or makeup
- bring candy, treats or other items to share with their peers or class.
